slacker

That is me. I'm slacking on blogging. In attempts to change I've put together the most random/boring blog I've possibly ever written....and it doesn't even have a picture! How do you all put up with me!?

I just returned from a work week in St. Louis. I was able to catch up with a friend from college & found out too late that a friend from high school lives in the area. I'll have to connect with her next time.

Yesterday was the best Monday I've had in a long time...I took it off. It was not planned, but very much needed. We could all use a little spontaneity in our lives right? My husband made me do it...did I mention he took off too? (sigh) It was the best decision we've made in awhile.

This weekend my parents are coming in town and we are going to start putting in our backyard patio. I feel a "Yard Overhaul Part III" coming on soon. What we don't finish will be put off until next weekend, which is also when I leave for another work week. Luckily this time I get to see some friends in Denver CO & the premier of Eclipse. :)

July 4th weekend I get my dogs back. I know some of you (Abby) hee hee are rolling their eyes right now, but I really have missed them a lot! I've also gained 10 lbs. since they left b/c once they were out the door so was my motivation to walk/run/get off the couch after work.

The rest of the summer is booked, but I really can't complain. I'm happy to be visiting friends or having friends visit me. I'm thrilled to be helping friends move into their new homes or welcoming their new baby, going to concerts, touring DC, white water rafting & so on. There is lots of fun just around the corner!
