"Will it be possible to never show my child the digital pic or video just taken? Immediately after taking a pic/video you always hear 'can I see it?' When I was little I walked through the snow to school, barefoot, up hill both ways...and I couldn't see a picture until it was developed."

Lisa, I think about this all the time. Even in Honduras, the children would always ask to see the pic after we'd taken it. They'd never even grown up with cameras, but after several mission groups came through...they got the idea.
