About Me

I'm adventurous when I want to be, but I'm just as happy watching a movie at home. I'm married to my best friend who makes me laugh on a regular basis & a son that makes me happier then he will ever know. I strongly feel that the most important thing in life is your relationship with Christ and your relationship with others.

Rochester or Bust!

This weekend I was able to visit Rochester! I got in around dinner time Thursday night and enjoyed Jimmy John's sub shop & relaxed before hitting the sack after traveling all day.

Friday morning I went into work and saw most of my co-workers! It was so great to see everyone! I miss seeing those faces on a regular basis. That night was the opening weekend of "new moon" that you all know I was anxiously awaiting. It didn't let me down! We got in line a hour before the movie started so we could all 4 get seats together and it was necessary. That place was packed!
twilight junkie & cullen 17Megan, Beka, Andi & I ready to head to the movie!I wish his eyes were open, but at least this picture shows his lack of enthusiasm towards our shenanigans & it involving his wife. ;) He might be in the middle of rolling his eyes at us! I'm sure we deserved it!
This was only part of the line! It zig-zagged farther up & there was at least this much behind us once the movie started.

Saturday Andi and I went to the cities to do some shopping & then to church that evening. I love the church we attended in Rochester and really hope we find something we love that much here in TN. Some girls went to eat at Chester's afterwards for delicious food and then to Beka's house to chat & catch up more. We ended up staying there until after midnight!

yay for MOA & West Elm!

Being in Rochester felt strange. It didn't feel like I was visiting, but more like returning home after a long trip or something. When the girls made plans for dinner again or talked about having a game night I forgot I wouldn't be there. Such an odd feeling. John and I always have said if Rochester was more like 4-5 hours from home instead of 14-15 hours we would prob. live there forever. We will just have to settle with lots of visits!

It was a much needed fun trip and I can't wait until I get to do it again. Until next time....
