About Me

I'm adventurous when I want to be, but I'm just as happy watching a movie at home. I'm married to my best friend who makes me laugh on a regular basis & a son that makes me happier then he will ever know. I strongly feel that the most important thing in life is your relationship with Christ and your relationship with others.

It's a bird...it's a plane...

Sunday night John & I were enjoying eating dinner outside. We are trying to soak up the last drops of summer as much as we can. Rochester has a lot of hot air balloon rides, but this was the first time we've seen one come so close to our house. I quickly grabbed the camera to capture a few pics. It's closer then it seems in the pictures.

The funny thing was Jax. We're not sure why, but he freaked out! He saw it in the distance and watched it like a hawk. The closer it got the more it scared him. He tucked his tail and ears back and frantically looked for a place to hide, which happened to be under our table. He was so scared his little body was actually shaking! He was too afraid to even go in the house. I'd like to say I felt bad for him, but it was hilarious! Poor guy...I took these pics. dying laughing. He was so scared he hid under the couch for the rest of the evening. I have no clue why it freaked him out so bad.

We looked up how much it would be for a ride since they take off just down the road from us. We decided $600 for the two of us wasn't worth it! I'm considering quitting my job to start a hot air balloon business. How hard can it be!? :)

not sure where to run

pitiful!

Oh my gosh... so funny! I love this story. To be honest, I kinda pretended I was there because it's moments like these that I miss with you and John and Jax :) Jax has gotten so big... I can't believe it. It seems like just yesterday Arhmin was bringing a little tiny puppy to your door! Can you maybe start your hot air balloon business in Cleveland? I'll help you get it started... haha! Love you...

When I lived in Southern Ohio, every summer they had the Hot Air Balloon festival thingy... so for a week, every morning at 6 and every night at 6 there were 20-30 hot air balloons in the sky. It was AWESOME! If you put a big white sheet in your yard, they would land there. We tried but they didn't land in our yard. :o(
