"Todd,
This is Lisa Turner. I placed an order in AUGUST and PAID IN FULL for my blanket. I've tried to contact you on numerous accounts and even went by your office in downtown Dallas this week to find out you moved out of the office in the middle of the night. I am highly distressed that you are continuing to take blanket orders on your website. Will these people even receive their blankets or are you just taking their money like you did mine? Should I file a police report about this or notify the media? This is not acceptable.
I would like a response from you and I would like for you to send the blanket I ordered or as agreed upon below to

I expect a reply from you shortly. I'm out of patience.

This was a new email address I acquired during my Dallas search so imagine the
"Lisa, Let me start with what's most important first.
1. I'm so terribly sorry.
2. I very much want to make it right with you.
We no doubt fell way behind on production -- and responding to customer service emails... Here's all I can tell you... The sheety blankets are kind of seasonal -- in meaning that the prints are done in limited runs... So -- some of the prints we might have for 3 months, run out, find some more and sell it again for another 6 weeks.
Going to look in back now to see if we have any more of that style in stock. Give me five minutes to get right back with you... My most sincere apologies...
- Todd"
I'll spare you the rest of the emails that took place that night (there were several), but it ended with me picking out a new patterned fabric for Emory's blanket & the promise to have it in the mail the next day. I also shared my opinions with him on how he was running his business and how I felt that he should update the website with his current email and phone number for the others out there trying to find their blanket. He said "thanks for the feedback."
I also don't believe it's a coincidence that less than an hour after publishing my frustrations on the world wide web, I finally get a response from Todd after months of trying. Through the rest of my emails with him I also picked up on clues that makes me think Todd read my previous post on the blankie war & is probably reading this one now. Hi, Todd, if you are indeed reading this, I'm happy to see that you updated your contact info. at the bottom of the website. It's still not under the "contact us" part of the website, but it's a great start!
I received the blanket in the mail TODAY, just a second ago. Todd was nice enough to include 2 extra blankets with the same nursery rhyme on it. They aren't patterned like Emory and Jodie's, but they are extremely soft & will make any future baby happy. I'll post pictures when I find my missing camera charger...that I've lost for over a month.
I think the moral of this story is...persistence pays off...
and never cross me.
(haha, just kidding! I laughed at all of your comments on being afraid--too funny!)
I may have found a new calling in life & just might open my own detective store. Until then...Emory has her blanket & all is right with the world.

YAAAAAYYYY!! It's finally over! Your persistence has paid off and I'm so glad the story's over :) With such a happy ending, too! Scrappy wins again... Gotta love it.
HAHA!!!! Love it. Love it. Love it. Glad you got your blankets!
Todd, do not be fooled. We ARE afraid of our teeny, tiny Lisa. Thank you for sending the blanket because had you not, she's also a terrific recruiter of talented women willing to spare time to incite an all out web-based war on people unwilling to give her what she wants.
All in the name of keeping the babies in our lives warm and cute,
ms
