About Me

I'm adventurous when I want to be, but I'm just as happy watching a movie at home. I'm married to my best friend who makes me laugh on a regular basis & a son that makes me happier then he will ever know. I strongly feel that the most important thing in life is your relationship with Christ and your relationship with others.

Update on Kendall!

Thank you all SOO MUCH for your prayers. Yesterday the surgery went better than expected & Kendall is recovering.

The best part is that it is NOT CANCER! PRAISE GOD!!!! I'll use Kendall's words...

"To God be the glory for He has done great things!

We know some additional information, and so we wanted to make sure we got it out quickly.
To start with we will reiterate that it is NOT cancer. I have been diagnosed with sarcoidosis (a disease in which swelling and inflammation occurs within lymph nodes, lungs, and other tissues). As of right now, the plan is that there will be no treatment, and I will be monitored with my usual oncology checkups. This diagnosis should have zero impact on the length of my life. I was prepared for significantly worse news, and Dr. Cassivi said this is the best possible outcome/diagnosis given my situation.
We continue to be amazed at how God cares for us in ways FAR exceeding our expectations.

II Corinthians 1:4-5--"He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, He brings us along someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us. We have plenty of hard times that come from following the Messiah, but no more so than the good times of His healing comfort--we get a full measure of that, too." (the Message)
