About Me

I'm adventurous when I want to be, but I'm just as happy watching a movie at home. I'm married to my best friend who makes me laugh on a regular basis & a son that makes me happier then he will ever know. I strongly feel that the most important thing in life is your relationship with Christ and your relationship with others.

New Car!

I'm very sad to report that my old Mazda finally bit the dust. She's been my one and only car since I was 16 & has given me many memories, but her time has come to retire. I'm actually surprised she lasted as long as she did...my parents weren't sure she would make it through college.
After much research John & I decided to lease. I know what you're thinking & I was there too, but because of the line of work John's in we're able to use our car payment each month as a tax write off if we lease! There are other reasons we chose that road, but needless to say I won't bore you with them all. We're happy about our decision. We'll have this car for three years and then we'll either trade it in or buy it. I keep hear him talking about how he doesn't want to buy "a depreciating value," but we'll see. :)
Neither John nor I have ever had a new car before so this has been pretty exciting. To actually smell the "new car smell" and it not be someone else's! We went with a 2009 silver Camry so far it's working out great for us. John's head doesn't hit the roof like it did in my old car & it's such a blessing to have 4 doors. :)

Here she is......

please note the UT key :)

There is a little pocket for your IPOD. What does it mean that cars now come with built in places for your IPOD!?! hum....

I'll have to have Arhmin give her a name since that is one of Arhmin's specialties.

Nice...that car will last forever. In January, mine will be 10 years old...not a problem yet.
